Python is a multi-purpose programming language that is used by companies big and small. Notable companies that use Python include Instagram, Google, and Pinterest. Python is a simple language to learn because it doesn’t have too many rules, yet it’s powerful enough that most of today’s Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning programs are written in!
Building on the Python Level 6 course, students will continue to dive deeper into classes and objects - how to construct objects, giving objects different attributes, and retrieving these attributes in a safe way. These are all core concepts of object-oriented programming essential to writing complex applications.
By the end of the course, students will create ATM application that allows customers to deposit and withdraw money. On top of programming skills, students will gain soft skills from explaining their solution to peers, thereby understanding how others are solving the same problem in different ways.
